The CPU system HTS3544 Philips Home Theater is both an AV receiver and DVD player (720p, 1080i output resolution). This set consists of 4 satellite speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer. This is a 5.1 channel sound and audio production with an output of 1000W. It also comes with a radio tuner that can store up to 40 stations.
Design:
Philips HTS3544 home theater system is in silver and black. Outside the unit / DVD player, the color of the two equivalent models (black). On the front of the DVD player has a glossy surface. The silver model has an almost mirror-like surface appearance. The speakers sport a very simple and minimalist design, a rectangle shape with a black mask on the front. In fact, they were so simple that I wish Phillips would like to add a little edge to her. However, the design is practical and can easily be integrated in other designs.

You can easily fill a small room with rich sound and clear. I noticed that the sounds made by speakers are rather concentrated in the sense that the speakers are pointed out. This is great because it prevents sound from traveling to other parts of the house, when you have a large number. DVD Player also up-scales DVDs to 1080i.
Overall:
For the home theater system that costs about $ 130 each (at time of writing), the Philips HTS3544 home theater system proves to be a good buy, it gives you a lot for your money. If you can not have some of the features found in systems for $ 800, but the sound quality comparable to those produced by expensive high-end audio equipment.
